Darryll King has won over 50 New Zealand Championships during his 25 years of motocross racing. He has finished 2nd in the  1997 and 1998 World 500cc Motocross Championship. DK retired from Professional motocross late in 2007. 

DK  finds himself flat out with MXDK motocross training and running the Rockstar Yamaha motocross team here in New Zealand.

Darryll has just won the Austrlian Vets 40 plus Championship after returning from the World Vet Cup round in Glen Helen USA where he finished 2nd behind American Doug Dubach.

In 2011 DK will head back to Europe to contest the World Veteran Cup Championship series. 

Throughout the remainder of 2010 the Yamaha MX team will have a new look sponsor and working hard to be fully prepared for the National Championship series which starts in February 2011.
